On December 18th 2023, 9 students from the pGRG Kollegium Kalksburg and 8 students from the Chirumalar School, Tamil Nadu, India met in break-out-sessions to do an experiment together.
Together, the students learned how to use micropipettes, practiced using them and then separated different ink dyes according to size using low-cost electrophoresis.
There was also time to get to know each other. First we discussed hobbies, favorite colors and subjects, then we talked about breakfast at the Chirumalar School or typical Austrian cuisine like schnitzel. At the end, the test results were collected, compared and discussed in small groups.
The project also required support from the Parish of the Good News (Pfarre.zurFrohenBotschaft.at), for example with technical support – LAN switch, adapter for LAN cable.
